Did you know... Clinical trials conducted by the University of Geneva in Switzerland indicate that green tea raises metabolic rates and speeds up fat oxidation. In addition to caffeine, green tea contains catechin polyphenols that raise thermogenesis (the rate at which calories are burned), and hence increases energy expenditure.
There is also a suggestion that it can increase endurance in exercise by improving fat metabolism.

Joseph C. - I will be truthful. I prefer black teas because of their stronger taste so I guess I am a tad biased. The lemon taste is pronounced but the green tea ruins it for me. In general I believe green teas should be preferred straight (such as gunpowder, sencha etc) and black teas are the one that should be flavored. Straight black teas are great too. But that is just my personal opinion.
