During Roman times, flowers were sold for 100 denarii per pound, which was about the same as a month's wages for a farm labourer, or fifty haircuts from the local barber. Lavender has been use against stomach aches, colds and sore throats. Its is used as a calming herb to help in promoting sleep and reduce stress as it relaxes the nervous system. This lavender is a very high quality blue in color from France know to have some the best lavender.

Amazing Lavender. Although it did have a few more twigs than usual it was well worth it.
