This Fanciest Grade is a rare, entirely hand picked and processed top grade Oolong which has a dark leaf. Produced from carefully selected leaves, the infusion is of a light brown color reminiscent of fine Champagne with a complex, but pleasantly mild and interesting nutty cocoa taste.
Brewing Instructions: : 2 tsp, 3-4 min, 90 °C
Did you know... Oolong tea undergoes a few delicate processes in order to produce the unique aroma and taste. Typical Oolong tea is processed according to the following steps:
1. Wilting (wěidiāo): Sun dry or air dry to remove some moisture.
2. Yaoqing (yáoqīng): To bruise the edge of the tea leaf to create more contacting surface for oxidization.
3. Rouqing (róuqīng): The tea leaves are tumbled or rubbed for the next stage.
4. Shaqing (shāqīng): Process to stop further oxidation.
5. Cooling:
6. Drying: To remove excessive moisture.

Karen S. - I chose to review the Oolong Champagne since it is an amazing Oolong worth trying if you are an oolong fan. It is light & mild, with a slightly sweet flavor that harmonizes the elements of black and green tea. I would also recommend you try the floral Lemon tree (tillia) herbal and whole leaf lemon verbena. Absolutely Wonderful. Lorena C. - Champane has good aroma and very good Oolong but is expensive for me
