Gunpowder tea gets its name from the appearance of the leaves, which are rolled tightly into small, round pellets. The tight roll helps Gunpowder remain fresher longer than other teas. It has a tightly rolled leaf with a fine tart note and a golden cup. An exquisite and rich green tea.
Brewing Instructions: : 1 tsp, 3-4 min, 75 °C
Did you know... Several types of green teas are commonly rolled into "gunpowder" form, including Chunmee, Tieguanyin, Huang Guanyin, and Dong Ding, as well as many other Oolong and higher-end jasmine teas.

William H. - Light with some grassiness and a slightly cocoa finish. Pam M. - This gunpowder has a full and smoky flavor that gives it a lot of depth. I tried mixing it with other herbs such as peppermint leaves for a Moroccan-style tea. I loved this tea.
