From the New Vithanakande estate of the Ratnapura district of Sri Lanka this extravagant Ceylon tea, nerved with many tender silver tips makes a fruity aromatic cup.
Brewing Instructions: : 1 tsp, 3-4 min, 100 °C
Did you know... Prior to the 1860s, Ceylon's main crop was coffee and it wasn't until a fungus had been observed which denuded the trees that tea started being planted. Today, Sri Lanka (Ceylon's post-colonial name) is the world's largest exporter of tea. Two men partly responsible for this transformation are James Taylor and Sir Thomas Lipton.

Martin B. - This had a very fine leaf with a slight silver tip. Very special tea and I highly recommended to those looking for a special Ceylon.
